When: District Purchased the sewer easement that runs through the Fircrest property in 2011
Why: District feels it is important to maintain the integrity of the sewer system throughout our service area. The Fircrest system was an island, formerly owned by the State, within the District boundaries. Maintenance of the sewer system under the State was not regularly scheduled. The District will regularly inspect and clean the sewer system on Fircrest property. This will reduce the impact potential to District customers immediately adjacent to Fircrest and is better for the environment.
Funding: Repair and Replacement Fund.
